Muriel, an unusual debutante, was revealed for the first time at The Morgan pub in Malvern back in October 2010. Her coming out was witnessed by assorted Ariel, Morgan and general transport buffs, all intrigued to see what John Bradshaw was wishing upon an unsuspecting world. The First Launch by JRB Publishing was in October 2010 at The Morgan pub in Barnards Green, Malvern, Worcestershire. A very supportive assembly of motorcyclists, motorists and journalists were there, all of which proved to be a jolly good start to the enterprise. Copies of ‘A Tall Short Story’ and ‘Transmogrification’ sold out and so more were rapidly printed. Early on, requests for batches of books were made by Courtyard Books, a small but knowledgeable and enthusiastic bookshop located near to the Prescott hillclimb circuit in Gloucestershire.
